| Khare, Visheshwar Nath, B.A., L.L.B.—Born on 2nd May, 1939. Enrolled Advocate Allahabad High Court on 28th November, 1961, Practised on the Civil, Writ and Revenue sides in the Allahabad High Court. Had been Chief Standing Counsel for State Government at Allahabad Bench. Appointed permanent Judge, Allahabad High Court from 25th June, 1983. Appointed as Chief Justice Calcutta High Court on 2-2-96. Appointed as a Judge of Supreme Court of India on 21-3-97. Appointed as The Chief Justice of India on 19.12.2002(F/N). Retired on 2-5-2004. |
